Teresa M. Muldoon

Teresa M. Muldoon (nee, McGarry) passed away peacefully at the age of 75 on June 10th, 2025. Born in Philadelphia to Thomas & Teresa McGarry (nee, Brogan, deceased) beloved sister of John McGarry, Margaret (Peggy) Latrechiano) and Patricia Tillson (Scott, deceased) Preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas, parent in laws, Joseph & Elizabeth Muldoon and brother in law, Joseph Muldoon (Christy) Survived by her daughter, Maureen Dougherty (James), son, Kevin Muldoon (Amy) grandchildren, Molly Dougherty and Owen Muldoon, as well as, many niece’s, nephew’s, cousins and friends. Teresa will always be remembered for her wit, humor, kindness and generosity to others. Teresa volunteered for several years at Saint Francis Xavier School and Rectory. She truly enjoyed working all the candy sales, book fairs, bazaars, beef and beers and any and all fund-raising activities that benefited the church and school. Teresa cherished the many everlasting and lifelong friendships she made over the years, especially during her volunteer time. Teresa enjoyed her monthly bus trips with the girls to Atlantic City and always came home with a funny story to tell. Teresa loved celebrating the holidays, Christmas being her favorite, weekend shopping trips with family to the outlets in Lancaster, meticulously decorating the 12-foot live tree and mantles with fresh greens and family heirlooms, but was know for her professionally wrapped gifts, too pretty to open. Teresa loved spending summers in Sea Isle City (her happy place) entertaining family and friends (whom she always treated like family) Teresa treasured catching up and spending time with her cousins every October in Avalon. Teresa loved music, her favorite band being the Eagles (happy she got to see them a few years ago with her sister, Peg in AC and her surprisingly new favorite band, AC/DC.. don’t ask?) Teresa bled green every Sunday for her Eagles and got to witness their two Super Bowl championships. Teresa will be dearly missed by her family and friends but also sadly missed by her fur babies, The Bandit, Mr. Winston and Luna. Interment is private.
