Charles Peter Van Osten, Sr., age 75 , of Southampton, PA, formerly of Fairmount, PA, passed away on July 28, 2020. He was born in Philadelphia to Rose and Leigh Van Osten on March 14, 1945. He married Gloria Bianchi on July 29, 1972. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the United States Army, 1st Calvary. He was awarded a Vietnam service medal, as well as a marksman's award. Charles is survived by his daughters; Tracie Patterson (Don), Lisa Bilotto (Anthony); his sons; Charles Van Osten, Jr., and Steven Van Osten, Sr. (Dawn), Grandchildren; Jeremy and Taylor Patterson, Francesca, Sabrina, Mario, Luigi and Leo Bilotto, Steven Van Osten, Jr., Gina Van Osten, Charles Peter Van Osten, Jr., Brittany Van Osten, Bianca (Carl), Vinny, Tommy, and Olivia, Gianna and Vanessa Mastrangelo. Also his brothers; Kenny Van Osten (Pat), and Dennis Van Osten (Leslie). Besides his parents Rose and Leigh Van Osten, Charles was preceded in death by his wife Gloria (Bianchi) Van Osten, daughter Lora Ranelli, and brothers Leigh "Buddy" Van Osten, and Richard Van Osten. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, August 3, 2020, in the Dinan Funeral Home, 1921-23 Spring Garden Street, Philadelphia, PA from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT DUE TO THE INCLEMENT WEATHER FORECAST FOR TUESDAY, AUGUST 4, THE VISITATION AND SERVICE SCHEDULED FOR THAT DAY HAS BEEN CHANGED TO 8 A.M.
