Mr. Robert G. McComb Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Robert (Bobby) McComb of Philadelphia, PA passed away on July 8, 2022 at Penn Hospice-Rittenhouse. Bobby was born on January 2, 1949. He was a fun loving person who grew up in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia surrounded by life-long friends. He was the beloved brother of Carol, Sheryl (Danny), June (Tom) and Ed (Theresa). He was predeceased by his brother, William J. McComb, Jr. and his parents, William J. McComb, Sr. and Ethel Hamilton. We were all special to him in our own special way and we are blessed to have experienced his great sense of humor, his tell it like it was attitude and his big heart. He was the fun-loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Because he was a big kid at heart, his nieces and nephews adored him. He was a character who could light up a room and would do anything for a laugh. Anyone who knew him, knew he had a big heart. He’d give you anything…even if it wasn’t his. Bobby loved deeply and we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace surrounded by light. Please remember him well, speak of him often and love him always. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 12 noon, in the Dinan Funeral Home, 1923 Spring Garden Street, Philadelphia, PA.
