In Loving Memory of Christian “Ceez” Miranda Torres Christian “Ceez” Miranda Torres, a man of many titles and an even bigger heart, was suddenly taken from us on July 21, 2024 at the age of 43. He was born to Luz Raquel Torres Perez and Gerardo Miranda Echevarria on March 25, 1981 in Philadelphia, PA. As a father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend Ceez wore many hats, and he wore them all with a style that was uniquely his own. Ceez dealt with more than his fair share of turmoil over the years, yet he always strived to do better and, through the darkness, sought out the light. He was known for his goofy sense of humor and a laugh so distinctive and contagious that it could brighten even the darkest days. Whether it was a skit, roast session, or joke Ceez had a way of lifting spirits and bringing joy to those around him. Back in his younger days Ceez left his mark on the world through graffiti art, painting his dreams and struggles on the walls of the city. He even rapped a couple of songs, though we never got to hear them, leaving us to imagine the rhythms and rhymes that came from his creative soul. Ceez was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back. His kindness and humility were his defining traits. He always made sure his friends and family were okay, often putting their needs before his own. He was a rock for many, always ready with a helping hand or a listening ear. Until we meet him again, let's remember the laughter, the love, and the light he brought into our lives. He was a man who, despite the odds, always tried to find the bright side and share it with those he loved. May we honor his memory by embracing life with the same courage and humor that defined his journey. Rest easy, Ceez. Your spirit, your laugh, and your kindness will live on in all of us, and somewhere, Ceez is still painting the sky with his dreams. Ceez was preceded in death by his father Gerardo Miranda Echevarria, his brother Gerardo Miranda Jr., and beloved dog Panda Miranda. He is survived by his mother Luz Raquel Torres Perez, his siblings Beatriz Miranda, Ramon Miranda, and Maria Miranda, his daughters Briannie Miranda and Kassidy Miranda, his nephew Elias Miranda, and his partner Esmeralda Mobley. Services for Ceez will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 starting at 8:00 AM for close family and 9:00-11:00 AM for all family & friends at Dinan Funeral Home. His burial will take place at Greenmount Cemetery and the repast will immediately follow at The Venue Banquet Hall until 2:30 PM. Ceez’s Novena Prayer will begin on August 4,2024 at 7:00 PM at the home of his mother Luz Raquel and virtually via zoom.
