Mrs. Lillian Hoepfl

Lillian Hoepfl, 99, of Lansdale, PA, formerly of Hatfield, PA, was welcomed home by God on Wednesday, June 30th. In heaven, she was greeted by her late husband of 53 years, Linford Hoepfl, her son, Garry Hoepfl, her daughter, MaryLynn Logan, her son-in-law James Logan, her parents, Adam and Harriet (Kinsley) Stinson, her sisters Harriet Harris and Catherine Simon, and countless family and friends who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love survives through her daughter, Carol Blum and her son-in-law Fritz, her grandson, James Logan, her grandson, Robert Logan and his wife Michelle, her granddaughter Linda Lee DiEmedio, and her granddaughter Cathy Ogur and her husband Scott, with whom she lived for the last 10 years. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, with two more great-great-grandchildren on the way, and many nieces and nephews. She was a devoted wife, mother, and Mom-mom, who lived simply and loved fiercely. She found strength in her faith, family and friends. She was an active member of Good Shepherd Church in Hilltown, PA where over the years she enjoyed participating in Daytimers and the Shady Ladies luncheon group. She was an advocate for the mainstreaming of children with special needs in support of her son, Garry. Her main occupation was as a home maker, however, she also worked at Hanson’s in Hatfield and at a machine shop as a punch operator when her children were young. She enjoyed a good game of cards, going out to lunch with her friends and her daughter, Carol, being a member of the Red Hat Society, having her hair done each week by her granddaughter, Linda Lee, relaxing in Maryland at the campsite and in the boat she shared with her husband, watching the birds at her bird feeder, worrying about the people she cared for, bantering and laughing with all those around her, and spending time with her family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, July 6th from 6 to 8 pm at the Shelly-Dinan Funeral Home, 24 E. Main Street, Lansdale, PA, A celebration of her life will be planned in recognition of her 100th birthday when capacity limits have been lifted at her church.
